Late last week I received a 30% Off Coupon in the mail. Ann Taylor Loft is one of my favorite stores to shop at. They have petite sizes for me as well as high quality materials that will last for a long time. I took advantage one evening that I was in a shopping center that had an Ann Taylor Loft store, and decided to stop and see what they had… Always knowing I will most likely be buying it online, but I couldn’t resist because I Love to Shop!
They have a beautiful line this season… Very Springy for the office as well as casual dress. That is me now… No more office gear. I grabbed a few things, tried them on and decided to go to the register to checkout… Not smart shopping… I did not really plan to buy it there and then, I was actually hoping to find one of their sale sweaters in a petite size, but I went with the flow to compare the in-store experience.
Ironically enough, the two young ladies were not too helpful. They advised that the coupon I showed them would not be valid until that Saturday and that they would give me 15% off instead. “Okay,” I said. “I usually shop online anyway, so I will wait two days to make my purchase. I would really like to receive my complete 30% off discount as well as my Double Ann Taylor points.” I was amused when they suddenly changed their tones to try convincing me that I would not find the sale items I had found in their store online. And that the shoes were exclusive and would definitely not be online… And that I should take advantage of the offer while they still had my size. The shoes cost $98.00.
The following morning, I got online with my 30% coupon at hand. It wouldn’t hurt me to try and see if the promotional code would work. And boy, did it work?!!! The original price for all 8 of my items would have summed up to a total of $ $441.50.
Not only did I pay the 30% discounted prices for my items online to total $292.23, but in addition to that I received Double points on my Ann Taylor Loft credit card…. And, they mailed me 15 Savings cards. I have 15 cards that I want to give away to you smart shoppers. They are valid between the dates March 15-27, 2010. You can enter the Promo code to save $25 on your next online purchase of $5o or more. What a gift!!!
I paid $68.60 for the shoes online before all my perks…
My friends, that was all online promo codes and sale shopping. Do you know that in addition to my $149.27 savings, as a Certified Affiliate, I received “DOUBLE CASHBACK POINTS” through my ShopBest Toolbar. As a Free toolbar member that would be 1,168 points. As a Certified Affiliate, I earned 2,336 Points for that one purchase. Isn’t that amazing?!!!
